一隻蒼涼的大手﹐
一隻溫熱的小手掌﹐
在墓碑前攜手﹔
融兩種凝視﹐共一束鮮花﹐

Front a gravestone-they
(M’u-pei-ch’ien)
Put down a bouquet of wildflowers
in two-fold silence,
standing side by side with
a little hand in big palm
like a sweet bud within a great branch;
and eyes rest on the tomb stonewaited-return
the solid presence
that their dream lives on with;
and on a loving soul they are always sharing.
Not a day goes by withoutan endless yearning
